Curated Quilts is now accepting entries for our next Mini Quilt Challenge. All quilts submitted should be square, 10" x 10" up to 16" x 16" to be featured in our Mini Quilt Gallery. The Mini Quilt Gallery is a regular feature in each quarterly issue that features YOU! In every issue, 25 quilts are selected to be photographed and included in the journal.

For the Youth issue, (October 2020) we are looking for quilts that are reflective and made in collaboration with another quilter. As you reflect on your quilting journeys together, is there a recurring theme or emotion? We would like each quilting duo to be at different stages in their quilting journey as well. 

Collaboration can be done at any point in the design and sewing process. Quilters of any age (with supervision, if needed) are encouraged to participate in this challenge. Reflection comes in many forms, what about quilting gives you hope for future generations and the legacy that you are creating with your stitches? 

Keeping in mind that most everyone is social distancing right now, please collaborate virtually or over the phone, if working with a quilter outside of your household.

The color palette we would like you to use is depicted in the image above, navy blue, mulberry, spring green, aqua, evergreen, soft grey, and white.  We have a starter set of fat quarters available for purchase in the color palette here. 

The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2020, you will be notified shortly thereafter via email, with decisions. In the case that your quilt is selected, it will need to be received by August 1st for photography. We look forward to working with you!
